September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness month! To support women impacted by gynecologic cancer and reach out to more women, our Gynecologic Cancer Support Group will welcome a guest speaker to discuss gynecologic cancer treatment, side effects, and other concerns and questions. Everyone is welcome.
Linda Woody-Godsave, AGANP, MSN, RN, PHN is a graduate from Walden University School of Nursing in Minnesota with a specialty in Adult Critical Care. Her undergraduate education was achieved through Mount St. Mary’s College located in Brentwood California with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has trained under several community oncologists in the Los Angeles and Ventura counties before settling in as a Nurse Practitioner for UCLA Department of Medicine in 2018. She is currently practicing with the UCLA Westlake Village Hematology/ Oncology Center. Her practice focuses on all solid tumor and hematological conditions. Linda is a passionate practitioner that believes patient care is to treat individuals as a whole being; body, mind and soul. Linda has 20+ years of experience in both the inpatient and outpatient setting with patient families from initial diagnosis, the treatment journey to terminal care. Currently Linda hold certifications from the California Board of Registered Nursing, the ANCC, and the Oncology Nursing Society for Adult Critical Care and Oncology Treatment with chemotherapy and biotherapy.
