This workshop focuses on building awareness among patients and caregivers about Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), and how to foster an open dialogue with your health care team about treatment options, side effect management, and living with chronic blood cancers. Dr. Daniel Greenwald is a medical oncologist and hematologist at UCLA Health. He treats patients with all types of cancer, including hematologic malignancies, and is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. He provides compassionate, empathetic cancer care to the whole patient, and involves their family and caregivers in clinical discussions. Dr. Greenwald received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He also completed his internal medicine residency and chief residency, and hematology & oncology fellowship at Stanford University.
