Treatments for breast cancer may include surgery, radiation, endocrine therapy, and chemotherapy. The physical and emotional impacts of these therapies are not often discussed. In this talk we will explore the most common side effects associated with these treatments and evidence-based strategies that can help.

Dr. Natasha Banerjee is a breast oncologist with the Cedars Sinai Valley Oncology Group in Tarzana. She completed her fellowship in Oncology at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Prior to joining Cedars Sinai, she was a member of the faculty at the Olive View- UCLA Oncology Fellowship program and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. A native of the San Fernando Valley, her interests include community outreach, patient education, symptom management, and survivorship. She is passionate about providing the highest level of care to the valley and expanding clinical trials and research in the area.
